HVAC Design Engineer, East Birmingham, salary to c£42k+car/allowanceAre you:
Looking to play an active part in designing projects for installation?
Keen to get out on site a bit more and help with surveys?
Then this could be for you....
THE ROLE
* Working for an HVAC contractor/installer focused on cooling solutions, you'll be developing tender drawings and specifications, under the mentoring of an experienced manager.
* Undertaking heat/cool load calculations.
* Assessing & driving selection of equipment to include VRF air conditioning units, Air Handling Units, extract systems and associated pipework.
* Supporting customers with site surveys, advice and technical information.
* Assist with pushing estimating as required.
THE PERSON
* Ideally you'll have around 2 years minimum experience in a project design role.
* Good working knowledge of cooling systems to include Air Conditioning.
* A background in Mechanical Building Services, either working as a Design Engineer from an M&E Consultancy, M&E contractor or in Applications with an HVAC manufacturer.
* Full driving licence to survey sites & attend any client meetings.
THE PACKAGE
A basic up to c£42k, with car/allowance.
THE LOCATION
Based to the East of Birmingham, near to Solihull & Coventry.
