Refrigeration Service Engineer – Scotland Central Belt

Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer looking to get out of retail? 

THE ROLE – Refrigeration Service Engineer

• Carry out servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial and industrial refrigeration units.

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various refrigeration systems, including Beacon, Sabroe, Grasso, Halls, Bitzer, Copeland, Howden, Mycom, and various chillers.

• Some installation work as required.

THE PACKAGE – Refrigeration Service Engineer

• Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

• Door-to-door pay (paid from when you leave home).

• 21 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays.

THE PERSON – Refrigeration Service Engineer

• Must have experience with ammonia refrigerant systems.

• Strong background in servicing and PPM (not just installation work).

• F-Gas qualification is essential.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred (less experience considered at a lower salary).

• Must be proactive and a strong team player 

• Candidates with retail refrigeration experience may be considered with additional training.

THE LOCATION – Refrigeration Service Engineer

• Based in the Scotland Central Belt, with occasional travel to other Scottish areas.

• Some overnight stays may be required but not regularly.
