HVAC Design EngineerBased Bradford, salary approx c£55k.
THE COMPANY/BENEFITS

THE ROLE
* Focusing on project design of Air Handling solutions, to include product R&D.
* Taking a project from order stage and developing the design.
* Working closely with internal engineers, CAD team and the customer to ensure the application and selections of equipment are in line with the specification.
* Ongoing review of project designs, to push to the manufacturing team for production and creation of full bill of materials.
* As a technical specialist, you'll be involved with any on-site or commissioning queries to overcome any design or technical issues as required.
THE PERSON
* A strong background in HVAC design, ideally within Air Handling units.
* Those that come from allied markets such as fans, extract or possibly chilled water/heat pumps will also be considered.
* Previous experience required working within an HVAC manufacturing environment.
* Current or previous experience as a Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Design Manager and/or as an Applications/PreSales or Estimator would be beneficial.
* Commercially strong with ability to be client-facing and lead the design phase.
* Degree in a mechanical/engineering subject preferred but not essential.
