Are you looking for progression into a role where you run a large National Account? This is a great opportunity to join a industry leader in the HVAC Sector as Area Sales Manager for the Yorkshire and North East and also run a large National Account.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a leading name who were established over one hundred years ago. During that time the brand has become synonymous with quality HVAC products within the commercial / industrial plumbing and heating marketplace. As part of a large group the company offers great promotion opportunities within its various divisions in the UK.
THE ROLE
The Area Sales Manager role is to act upon leads given or self generated and follow through to a successful conclusion. Selling a market leading range of HVAC products to contractors and installers, whilst developing relationships with the big players in the distribution sector.
Another interesting dimension to this role is running a Key Account on a National basis for one of HVAC's best know brand names.
THE PERSON
It is anticipated that candidates will ideally come from a similar HVAC related sales background. Strong emphasis on a desire to succeed whilst maintaining a professional approach.
Essential criteria
1 Sound knowledge of industrial / commercial plumbing and heating.
2 Contacts within commercial contractors.
3 Business acumen and negotiating skills.
4 A good sales track record or customer facing experience.

Good competitive basic salary, negotiable, dependent on experience

LOCATION
Most of the time covering Yorkshire and the North East: Leeds, York, Bradford, Hull, Sunderland and Newcastle upon Tyne. Every 4-6 weeks spending 2 to 3 days away covering the UK on a Key Account basis for a specific market leading brand.
