Job description

Sales Engineer required for a well known, high quality, UK Manufacturer of Ventilation products, with a Basic to £65K and a £15K bonus along with a company car, to cover the Midlands and North, ideally located in Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham.

THE ROLE - Sales Engineer 
The Area Sales Managers role is to specify a range of market leading commercial ventilation products into M&E Consultants, Main Contractors and Architects and then follow it through with the M&E Contractors. 
Around 75% of your time will be spent on specifying their products. Helping designers with product selections and applying the correct product. 
There will be some desk work involved of going through drawings and selecting the right product. 
The role will involve customer visits to build relationships and provide presentations and support on their products. 

THE PERSON - Sales Engineer 
*This role would suit a Technical Sales Engineer. Ideally, you should have sales experience, but they would also consider someone with internal sales or application experience who is looking to move to a technical external sales role.
*Commercial or Industrial HVAC product experience.  e.g. fans, heat recovery, natural ventilation, chillers, pumps, packaged plantrooms. These products have to be specified and designed in, so a solution sales mentality is needed. 
*Driven to earn bonus and build sales.

LOCATION - Sales Engineer 
They have a need for someone in the Midlands and North. The ideal location would be M62 corridor (Manchester, Liverpool, Bradford, Leeds). However if someone lives in Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester or Birmingham the patch can be adjusted to accomodate.
