Design Engineer required in the Heat Pump industry.Working from home, approx c£42k basic salary + bonus
THE COMPANY/BENEFITS

THE ROLE
* Providing internal technical support on customer projects, focusing primarily on domestic air source heat pumps.
* Responding to client enquiries via email and phone, you'll be assessing drawings, specifications and project requirements with regards to heat pump design.
* Utilising in-house selection software, plus undertaking your own heat load calculations, you'll be able to assist the customer with the correct solution for their project.
* Pulling together a full bill of materials, schematics and information packs with a fully costed tender document, which the sales team follow up to obtain the order. * Providing technical support and advice at pre-installation stage with the contractor and/or end user customer.
* Supporting the group with occasional trade shows and customer visits to provide technical back-up and support.
THE PERSON
* We're seeking a track record and understanding of working on air source heat pump products and the MCS regulations.
* Current or previous positions may include Design Engineer, Applications Engineer, Pre-sales Engineer, Estimator, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer.
* Self-motivated and able to work from home, with full support from the team and managers alike.
* Excellent customer service, both written and verbal. Strong IT skills required in addition.
* HNC/degree qualified in an engineering discipline preferred but not essential.
THE PACKAGE
A basic salary around c£42k, pending on background/experience.
Full benefits package to include pension and healthcare, plus 25 days holiday.
Yearly bonus.
THE LOCATION
Can be based anywhere within the UK.
Fully remote/home based.
